WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO GET PAID
You only need to complete a W9 or VOUCHER if you booked a job!
Failure to do so within 10 days of the job may cause payment delay.
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET PAID?
STEP 1 - You need to fill out the W9 FORM by clicking the link at the top of this page for all jobs.
STEP 2 - Please email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject title W9 (your last name) ie. W9 Jones. Its important to have the subject title.
STEP 3 (when applicable) - You ONLY need to fill out a voucher when you work on jobs paid by the hour. Many jobs are not paid by the hour. NOTE - You may wish to fill out a voucher at the job for your own records.
STEP 4 - Wait for the check in the mail according to the time period provided in the payment process.
HOW DO I KNOW YOU GOT MY W9?
We will reply with an email simply stating "RECEIVED".
WILL I GET A TAX FORM 1099? If you earned over $600.00 in a fiscal year, you will receive a 1099 to the email address which you used when you filled out a W9 form. This will happen on or before January 31st. NOTE - It will come from the email address email@example.com. Be sure to add us to your email contacts list please.
What if I worked in December but got paid in January? The date the check is issued is the date which the fiscal year payment is applied to, so its not always the date you worked.
WHEN WILL I GET MY MONEY?
You will be paid within 2 business days of us receiving payment from the client. Faster payments equals happier talent as far as we are concerned. Clients take 15 to 45 days to pay us. Each client's payment time varies. Remember we don't get paid until you get paid, so we share the same mutual interest in receiving payment.
DO I NEED TO FILL OUT A W9 FOR EACH JOB?
No, you only need to fill this out once, unless you move or change your name ; in which case you need to fill it out again. You do need to fill out a job agreement registration or link for EACH job.
WHAT IF I FILLED OUT A W9 FORM AT THE JOB?
You don't need to, you will be paid from us. If you filled out a W9 form AT the job. That is not for us & we do not receive that. Filling out a W9 form at the job is not needed. You may tell our clients this on the spot.
IS THIS SECURE?
As with all businesses today, the security of your information is important to us. All of your information is secure using the most up date security. We would love to explain the process to you, but that would not be too smart in terms of security.
DO I NEED A VOUCHER/TIMESHEET?
Click VOUCHER BUTTON at the top of the page to download a timesheet. Timesheets must be signed and filled out for every job that is paid by the hour. Flat rate jobs do NOT need a timesheet. Hair model jobs do not need a voucher, however you may want to have one filled out for your own records.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
You do not need to fill out a W9 to audition.
COMMON POINT OF CONFUSION - On the W9 tax form you should check independent/sole proprietor. At the audition you should NOT say your independent. You should say you are from ALL AROUND TALENT. Independent has a different meaning with the IRS than it does at auditions.
++Talent will do need to sign a talent agreement in the form of a registration page or job agreement link prior to working any job.
You no longer need to mail in (or fax, scan, download and email) your W9 form to us, you just need to click BELOW.
You DO NOT NEED to fill out our EIN on the W9 number unless you are business owner.
Basically you just need to complete steps 1 AND 2 stated above or below.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO CONFIRM THE SECURITY/VERIFICATION EMAIL from (ADOBE) echosign for your W9.
